The Tiniest Baby
On June 23, Ricardo Morales Coronado was born five months prematurely
weighing only one pound. So small he would fit in the palm of a hand, according
to the nurses at Penrose Community Hospital.
Ricardo has four other siblings at home, ages, 15, 8, 5, and 1. Ricardo is now
four months old and weighs six pounds. He is on oxygen and there is a
possibility he will be blind. Mr. Morales is sole provider and Mrs. Coronado
Morales is a stay at home mother. Currently this family is experiencing
financial problems due to the large hospital bill and they are currently looking
to move.
Centro de la Familia and the Morales-Coronado family are asking the community to
donate to this family in their time of extreme need. Centro de la Familia will
be donating $200. Donations received will go towards hospital bills and first
month’s rent of $1,500. Please make checks payable to Centro de la Familia, 122
