Skating Show's Premiere Benefit Hosted By Peggy Fleming
First-Ever Event "Blades for the Cure" Assists Local Family and American
Cancer Society
Peggy Fleming, one of the most honored skaters in the world, brings her grace
and talent to Sertich Ice Arena for one show only Saturday,
April 12, at 7:30PM, with Blades for the
Cure. Along with two-time US National Champions, World Bronze Medalists and
Professional Skating Champions Jenni Meno and Todd Sand, Blades for the Cure
features a formidable array of 2008 Team USA national and international
medalists in singles, pairs and dance.
The benefit performance features an impressive and wide-ranging silent
auction and special VIP seating with a Meet and Greet and autograph session with
Ms. Fleming, Meno and Sand and the skaters following the show. Proceeds go to
the Blades for the Cure Foundation and this year benefit a local skating family
devastated by Multiple Myeloma, a type of cancer formed by cancerous plasma
cells in the blood. A portion of the money raised also goes to the American
Cancer Society Great West Division.

A confirmation will be sent and tickets will be available at Will-Call when
the doors open at 6:30 p.m.
