Penrose-St Francis Hosts ‘Girl’s Night Out’ Healthy Heart Event
Penrose-St. Francis Health Services is hosting a “Girl’s Night Out” Healthy
Heart Event from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28,
in honor of National Heart Month.
The event is free and open to the public, and will be held at Penrose
Hospital, 2222 N. Nevada Avenue, in Cancer Center Conference Rooms ABC and the
Lobby.
Some of the many interactive events include:
-A “heart health” presentation from a cardiac physician;
-A “feeding your heart” nutrition presentation from a dietician;
-A presentation on dealing with depression and lifting your heart through
spirituality;
Blood pressure and waist measurement screenings, with personal assessments
and information to get into the “heart healthy zone”.
-An interactive physical activity by the Penrose Hospital Fitness Team;
-Drawings for gift baskets, massages and a manicure/pedicure spa package;
-Free giveaways for all attendees, including heart healthy chocolate and
refreshments.
