Dizzy? Plus
Are you like to many of us, the year 2008 has been so demanding? We try to
survive among all the reports and laments we are presented, about the economy,
all agree “and it going to get worse.” What happened to global warming? I
haven’t been in so much cold weather in quite some time.
Economy, then there is Change, That word is heard everywhere. What is wrong
with change? Changes in our world are made every day. We must try to make most
of the changes positive. Some suggest that change is usually for the better,
some may disagree.
There are some issues that have not changed and we must address them as soon as
possible. We are not going to have positive change if we don’t educate our
children the dropout rate is obscene, no matter what ethnic group you wish to
consider, there is a dropout problem. If you try to isolate the issue to one
ethnic group, we will never solve the problem.
Forgive those that trespass against us, it is Lent, let us try to forgive
those, we can forgive in some instances easier, someone we love, when they say
“you are too old and ugly for me”; we can discuss it and in time forgive. Can we
do the same for the dropouts? Will they understand? And most important, will
they forgive.
