Starsmore Discovery Center

Open Weekends Beginning February 16, Also Open President's Day, Monday Feb. 18

Starsmore Discovery Center is starting out the 2008 season by opening its doors on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. beginning on February 16. The center will also be open on President's Day, Monday Feb. 18. Starsmore Discovery Center is part of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services and serves as an introduction to North Cheyenne Cañon Park and its beautiful waterfalls, rock formations, wildflowers and wildlife. At Starsmore Discovery Center guests can experience activities for all ages and enjoy a bird-watching window, fascinating dioramas, hands-on nature exhibits, cañon maps and information, and much more!

Saturday, Sunday and Presidents Day Programs at Starsmore
All programs are FREE to the public and reservations are NOT required.

Wildlife Tracks and Signs Walk – 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Discover wildlife tracks and signs on the snowy Columbine Trail. One-mile guided walk round-trip.

The Journey of Starsmore - 1 p.m. and upon request
Enjoy the remarkable story of Mary Starsmore and how her stone home was moved and transformed into Starsmore Discovery Center in this short movie.
