The Colorado Springs School
Students at The Colorado Springs School have among the highest test scores in
the region. Our teaching method of “learning by doing” gives students in
preschool through 12th grade the tools to understand and retain knowledge. The
curriculum allows students to apply academic concepts to classroom activities
and to field studies on campus, in the community, in the nation, and around the
world.
Teachers at the independent, coeducational, college-prep day school have small
classes, so they know students as individuals and challenge them to give their
best. The college counseling process, which begins in middle school, helps
students find the right fit academically, socially, and financially.
Individualized guidance in high school coursework, testing tactics, essay
writing, and interviewing gives each student the means to present the best
possible profile to the colleges and universities.
The Colorado Springs School offers a variety of arts, athletics, and service
opportunities in a balanced program. Transportation and before- and after-school
care are available. Financial aid and scholarships are available to students who
qualify.
