67th Annual Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo

The Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo is proud to contribute its proceeds towards outstanding programs and services benefiting local military personnel and their families. Since World War II, every performance of the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo has been dedicated to the men and women of America’s Armed Forces and thank you for their services.

Street Breakfast and Range Ride: on Wednesday, June 20, 6:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. in Downtown, Colorado Springs. The Street Breakfast is the official send-off of the Pikes Peak Range Riders on their 57th annual five-day ride. The pancake breakfast is only $5 and features live western entertainment. Proceeds go to local charities.

Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade: Saturday, July 7, 10:00 a.m. in Downtown, Colorado Springs, an all-day street festival for the entire family. There will be a grand assortment of bands, horses, floats and more! Kiddie Dress-up Revue will be in Acacia Park at 12:00 noon after the parade.

Carnival: July 11 – 15, Thursday and Friday - 4:30p to 11p., Saturday - 4:30p to 12p, Sunday 11:30a to 6p at the event grounds, Norris-Penrose Event Center, Colorado Springs. Come early, stay late. Fun for the entire family!

Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Performances: One of the nation’s premier rodeo competitions sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). In July, Colorado Springs is the focal point for world champions and rising stars in their quest to qualify for the WNFR championship held in Las Vegas. Mix in the HV BAR bucking stock from 10-time PRCA Stock Contractor of the Year, Harry Vold; a large fast outdoor arena; top contestants in the PRCA Standings, and you have a volatile concoction that gives real meaning to America’s original extreme sport.

Start with a powerful opening ceremony at the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo, and you’ll stay on the edge of your seat during the traditional rodeo events. Steer Wrestling, Bareback Broncs, Tie- Down Roping, Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, and Team Roping are mixed with Wild Cow Milking, Mutton Bustin’, Motorcycle Stunt Riding, and the sheer speed of Women’s Barrel Racing.
