CSU - Pueblo Athletics Seeks 2,000 People To Break Guinness World Record™
For Most People Wearing Balloon Hats
Take advantage of the men’s and women’s basketball games

Come out to the Colorado State University-Pueblo men’s and women’s basketball
game February 15, 2007, against the Fort Lewis Skyhawks where all attendees will
have a chance to be part of Guinness World Records™ history. By purchasing a
regular priced ticket you will receive admission to both men’s and women’s
basketball games and a balloon hat to wear during the event. Balloon hats will
be constructed by the Clowns of Al Kaly Shrine and distributed at the game. The
women’s game tip-off is 6 p.m.; the men follow at 8 p.m.
The current record for the most people wearing balloon hats is 1,876 at an event
organized by United Way and Intel Oregon as part of the Celebrate Hillsboro
weekend in Hillsboro, Oregon, on August 16, 2006.
“We are pleased to extend the invitation to the community to participate in this
record-breaking attempt,” said Joe Folda, athletic director at CSU-Pueblo. “It
is our hopes that there will be 2,000 folks in attendance to participate in this
memorable experience.”
Tickets for this special game can be purchased at the Events Center ticket
