How are you doing for the New Year?
Here we are in the second month of the New Year. How are your resolutions
coming?
Most of us had set goals, some dynamic, some very simple, some we wish to share
with close and most of all, extended family; simple goals, such as, let us meet
and greet each other with joy, not just at another funeral.
We all have some personal goals, which we really cannot control the outcome, no
matter how hard we try, but we all have them. Some will be trying to win over
that “very” special person. Some will tell you they are devoted to guiding the
children a certain way. That “very” special person will drop you in a heartbeat,
yes, you will feel worthless, there is pain, after awhile you realize, and you
must go on. Soon, there will be another “special person.” Ask some one with
teenagers how simple it is to guide and lead. I am told that too often what
parents’ want and what teens want are very distinct. There will be some rough
times, but do not give up.
Somehow things will work themselves out, the cold will go away, the sun will
shine and all will be well.
Yea right, and the Rockies will be in the World Series this year.
