County Hosting Open House on Fairground Master Plan
The El Paso County Parks and Leisure Services Department is hosting a County
Fairgrounds Master Plan Update open house on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 6:30 p.m.
It will be in the Whittemore Building that is located at the County Fairgrounds,
366 10th Street in Calhan.
The open house is designed to obtain input on the draft master plan update
that includes proposed improvements to existing facilities and the addition of
new ones at the County Fairgrounds.
The public will also be able to review the results of the recently completed
community-wide survey and hear a presentation by the mini-sprint car race
organizers who would like to use the Fairgrounds for races in 2007.
