EMT Paramedic program
An Emergency Medical Training (EMT) Paramedic program, designed to train
students in procedures excellence, is being offered by Pueblo Community College
in the spring semester that starts in January at its main campus in
Pueblo.
The course is aimed at students who wish to become paramedics and work in
emergency medical services. It can help advance people working in emergency
medical services who wish to enhance their scope of practice.
Students can earn either an associate’s degree in Emergency Medicine or a
Paramedic certificate. Classes will be held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
evenings. To qualify for the program, individuals must be an EMT basic, possess
a CPR card and have completed Biology 201 (Anatomy and Physiology).
