PCC offering ESL for 2007
Beginning in January, Pueblo Community College will offer two new classes in
ESL. There are beginner and advanced courses available. Classes will be held at
the campus, 900 W Orman Ave, Pueblo. Enroll now for January 2007, call
Shawn or Chanelle at (719) 549-3143.
Learn Your Community ESL is the beginner class. Beginners will work on
computers with state-of-the-art software and field trips will be arranged to
places in Pueblo for hands-on learning. Classes will be held Mon – Thu, 10 am –
noon. Cost is $60, including all materials. Course meets beginning in January.
Advanced ESL is designed for students with a firm understanding of English,
who need further help in grammar, pronunciation, idioms and figures of speech.
Alan Miller, an experienced ESL instructor, will hold small and personal classes
each Tue – Thu from 7:30 – 9:30 am. Cost is $95, including all materials. Course
meets beginning in January.
