Pick, Prepare and Preserve Peppers Class Offered
Have you been wondering what to do with that peck of peppers you just picked?
The Colorado State University Cooperative Extension Office in El Paso County is
offering a class on peppers. The class will be held on Aug. 26, 2006,
from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Extension Office located at 305 South Union Boulevard.
This class will provide information on the varieties of peppers, how to
interchange peppers in recipes, the preparation methods for peppers, and how to
preserve peppers for enjoyment later. Handouts, recipes and samples will be
provided.
The class fee is $8.00 and you can register by calling the Extension Office at
