Peak Vista Community Health Centers appoints Rodriguez as Director of DevelopmentPeak Vista Community Health Centers Foundation announces the appointment of Rebecca Rodriguez as Director of Development. Rodriguez was previously associated with JA Worldwide in the development department. A resident of Colorado Springs for the past seven years, Rodriguez has been actively engaged in education efforts and is working on her Masters in Public Affairs at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Rodriguez brings her deep knowledge and understanding of philanthropy to develop a Donor Centered philosophy to Peak Vista. Peak Vista Community Health Centers formally announced the launch of the Peak Vista Community Health Centers Foundation this past spring. “This is an exciting time for Peak Vista as we establish a Foundation to ensure the long term viability of health and dental care for working families without health insurance, as well as others in need of health-related services in El Paso and Teller counties. The depth of commitment and expertise of our Foundation board members will help us move forward in a strategic manner,” states BJ Scott, president and CEO of the 35 year old organization that serves nearly 50,000 people annual in El Paso and Teller counties. The new Foundation will operate exclusively for charitable purposes and for the benefit of Peak Vista’s Community Health Clinics and other healthcare facilities in the Pikes Peak region. In addition, the new organization will identify the philanthropic needs of Peak Vista, provide giving opportunities for the community to support Peak Vista and its activities.
