What a Week!
High lights-Low lights, where to begin. I was going to comment on Chief Velez
and his
Retirement, but after checking with some guy in the mirror, I decided to wait,
let the emotions settle.
Let’s talk about, Colorado anti-illegal immigration laws. News report say
that a million
People will have to prove they are legal residents.
A million? Where are all these people? Immigrants, you needed a ‘spin
doctor’, you needed a slogan like “Manifest Destiny” or “Let God be
Accountable.” Give the legislature credit; they did some thing Congress has not
been able to do.
If the news laws are bad, we can fix them, if they are good, we will abide by
them. Makes me think, as a native Coloradoan, how many members of our
legislature are natives of this state. Maybe we need to introduce another House
Bill.
I received a call from a national TV network today, I was not raving about
the new laws, so they thanked me for my time and moved on.
It is a new era, we must all adjust. We have done this before…we can do it
again.
