Students still have the chance to earn PCC credits this summerStudents considering batting out a college course or two yet this summer have a lot more to choose from at Pueblo Community College than just your basic reading, writing and ’rithmetic. They actually can choose such topics as “Auto Graphics & Design,” “Desktop
Publishing,” “Music Appreciation” and “Robotics” to name just a few. And, yes,
they also can take writing (“Basic Writing Skills” and “Writing Fundamentals”)
and ‘rithmetic (for those needing “Pre-Algebra” or “Fundamentals of
Mathematics”). A number of department scholarships are available through PCC’s Enrollment Management and Student Retention office in Room 247 of the College Center or by calling 549-3182. For those planning to attend PCC in the fall, this is also a great time to apply and register for fall semester classes before the college gets considerably busier prior to the Aug. 28 starting date. The fall semester will consist of a full 16-week term and two eight-week sessions, the second of which will start Oct. 23. All new students taking six or more credit hours must meet with an advisor
that is assigned when applying for admission, and continuing students also are
required to see their assigned advisor each semester to monitor educational
progress. For additional information call PCC at 549-3200. |
