Imagination Celebration Summer Camps
Sign up soon for these fun summer camps featuring a different theme each
week. There’s a little something for everyone so check it out and call us soon!
The registration deadline is one week before each camp starts. Camps will fill
up quickly so call us at (719) 597-3344 to make your reservations today! You can

and clicking on the calendar dates for the camp you’re interested in. Unless
otherwise noted, all camps are at Celebration Place, located in the upper level
of The Citadel Mall across from Steve and Barry’s.
Jun 5 - 9, Mon – Fri, 10 am – Noon
Drawing on the History of Art: A Visual Arts Camp - Grades 3-5
Each day of this five-day visual arts camp, Art Educator and Professional Author
and Illustrator, Craig Brown will start with a short introductory lesson in art.
We’ll then create artworks using the information discussed. With different
mediums, participating artists will create their own art relative to the time in
history studied that day. Admission: $75
Jun 12 – 16, Mon – Fri, 9 am – Noon
Playing Around with Drama - Grades 2-5
Instructor, Erica Skelcey, will help campers focus on using their imaginations
to strengthen their drama and theatre skills. Students will participate in drama
games, create scenes and have fun with improvisation. At the end of the camp
week, there will be a quick performance to show-off what campers have learned.

Jun 12 – 16, Mon – Fri, 1-4pm
In the Spotlight: A Drama Camp - Grades 6-8
In this weeklong camp, you will have the chance to flex your theatrical muscles!
Led by instructors Steve and Erica Skelcey, we’ll focus on improvisation, scene
work, auditioning and the basics of technical theatre including lighting, set
design, costumes and makeup. For grades 6 - 8. Admission: $75
Jun 12 - 16, Mon – Fri, 9 - 11 am
Camera Camp for Grades 6 - 8
Timberview Middle School, 8680 Scarborough Dr.
Do you live up north? Find it hard to get to Celebration Place? Well, then this
is the camp for you! Held at Timberview Middle School, this hands-on camp,
taught by Dennis Phillips, will introduce campers to the basics of digital
photography and the use of software. Admission: $75.
Jun 19 - 23, Mon – Fri, 10 – 11:30 am
Discovering Science – Grades 3 - 5
This week-long camp will take campers out of the textbook and into a whole new
world of scientific fun! Come dive head first into an ocean of interactive,
hands-on workshops full of discovery and wonder. More details coming soon on our

Jun 26 - 30, Mon – Fri, 10 am – Noon
Fun with Photos - Grades 1 - 3
Instructor Kathy Romberg will introduce campers to the world of photography in
this beginning class. Learn to use a digital camera, be an eagle eye, shrink
like a mouse and tell stories with pictures. Admission: $75
Jun 26 - 30, Mon – Fri, 1 – 3 pm
Photographing Your World - Grades 4 - 6
Go way beyond taking pictures to creating works of art! Instructor Kathy Romberg
will help you become skilled in the basics of using a digital camera and teach
you exciting ways to compose images, use dramatic viewpoints and express your
feelings. Admission: $75
