2006 Fiesta Queen

Melissa Reyes was crowned Saturday night as 2006 Colorado State Fair Fiesta Queen. Laura Montoya of Longmont was named first attendant, Shanda Marie Garcia of Pueblo was second runner-up, Trisha Alvarado of Pueblo finished third, Erica Pineda of Pueblo fourth, and Ashley Javinett, also of Pueblo finished fifth. Javinett also was named Miss Congeniality, an award which is regularly decided among contestants.
