Engaging the public in the development review process workshop

Colorado Spring's Planning and Community Development Department will present a free public workshop from 6 to 8 pm, Tue, Apr 18 at the City Administration Building, 30 S. Nevada Ave. The topics to be discussed will include

• How neighborhood groups can be informed about proposed development projects
• How to effectively participate in the City's development review process
• Understanding City Planning's neighborhood meetings program.

The workshop will be free and is open to individual citizens or groups. No reservation is necessary.

The workshop will be led by Paul Tice, the City's land use review manager, and Jan Doran, president of the Council of Neighbors and Organizations (CONO).

For more information, call 385-5354 or email <mcaterina@SpringsGov.com>

The workshop is one in a series presented by the Planning Department. Each session offers opportunities for residents to network with each other and to address issues that are important to homeowner associations and neighborhood organizations. It is also a forum in which to exchange ideas and ask questions of city staff.
