New Colorado Map Lists Top 10 Vacation Experiences
Official State Map Includes More Photography and a Mileage

DENVER, (Jan. 4, 2005) – Adventure unfolds in Colorado with the new Official Map
to Colorado, featuring a list of the state’s top 10 all-time vacation
experiences. Making the list are Colorado’s four national parks, historical and
heritage sites, 25 ski resorts, 240 golf courses, 13 river systems, backcountry
sports, shopping, cuisine, wine and microbreweries, and arts and culture.
Just off the presses, the detailed statewide map, along with a collection of
city-specific maps, enhances users’ navigability. While an extensive legend
allows visitors to locate every geographical attraction in the state from
national forests to reservoirs and all 54 of the state’s 14ers (peaks exceeding
14,000 feet).
Other special sections include a mileage chart tracking the miles between major
cities, a detailed legend of cities and towns, and lists of Colorado’s major
mountain passes, world-class ski areas, national parks and monuments, state
parks, scenic byways, notable roadside attractions and statewide welcome
centers.
