ElectriCritters at the Pueblo Zoo

ElectriCritters is a holiday light extravaganza, which has become a Pueblo tradition. Annually attended by approximately 15,000 visitors, especially designed animal sculptures make this event unique in the southern Colorado region. Visitors stroll through the Zoo where they encounter live animals, as well as lighted displays, while holiday music adds to the ambience. Awaiting will be many new "critters" as well as the return of old favorites such as the scampering chimps or the rattlin' rattlesnake. There will be that road runner still chasing the leapin' lizard. Many of the "critters" are animated and others have new family members to show off. Hot chocolate and other goodies are served nightly in the Candy Cane Café and great stocking stuffers can be found in the Wild Things Gift Shop.
