The Mounties Are Coming to Denver:
November 10 – 12, 2005
Kicking off their upcoming 100th anniversary, the National Western Stock Show
(NWSS) will host the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride with the
Canadian Consulate General in Denver celebrating its first anniversary.
The 32 horse-precision team ridden by the world-famous red-coated Mounties
will visit Denver for the first time with activities including a parade on 17th
Street from Union Station to Broadway, Nov. 10, 11:15 a.m. to noon; two benefit
performances for Denver-area school students (Nov. 11) and special community
groups (Nov. 12)—each invitation only; and three ticketed evening performances
during the Mountain States Circuit Finals Rodeo at National Western Events
