DENVER September 14, 2005- On Saturday the 8th of October The Fifth Annual
Denver Mariachi Festival "¡ México Vive !" proudly receives the "The Best
Mariachi in the World" El Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán. Also the acclaimed
Mariachi Vásquez; and the exciting Mariachi Los Toros. Complemented by the Grupo
Folklórico Sabor Latino. Hosted by the exciting “El Charro Negro” Timotéo
Pollard.

All tickets are available at King Soopers statewide. Ticket prices are only
$35.00 for General Admission Children 12 and under are $10.00 Children 2 and

Mariachi Day in the City and County of Denver
To commemorate The Fifth Annual Denver Mariachi Festival ¡ México Vive! Denver's
mayor, Mayor John Hickenlooper has declared by his official proclamation of
Saturday October 8, 2005 is "Mariachi Day in the City and County of Denver".
Mayor Hickenlooper an avid supporter of all cultures; has maintained a
commitment to diversity and excellence and in April 2005 – less than two years
into his first term – TIME Magazine named Mayor Hickenlooper one of the top five
“big-city” mayors in America.
