Helen Hunt Falls Open Weekends This September

This September we are fortunate to have the Helen Hunt Falls Visitor Center open on weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Come and enjoy the beautiful fall weather and the beginning of the fall colors in North Cheyenne Canon Park at beautiful Helen Hunt Falls. Join us for our Presentation Du Jour with topics including Hummingbirds, Wildflowers, Animal Tracking, Gold Prospecting, or American Indians of the Pikes Peak Region. Walk with a Naturalist up to the top of the Silver Cascade Waterfall and discover the wonders of our diverse ecosystems. Talks focus on the mountains, animals and plants that live in our park. The walk is 1/3 mile one way with an elevation gain of 200 ft. The visitor center will be closing for the season at the end of September. Please call 633-5701 for more information.


Labor Day Art Festival At Helen Hunt Falls

Come to Helen Hunt Falls this Labor Day and enjoy a beautiful scenic drive, exciting waterfalls, and shady picnic areas, as well as great art by local artists. The festival will take place on Monday, September 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Helen Hunt Falls Visitor Center, which is located at the top of North Cheyenne Canon Park.
