SBA Hosts Live Web Chat on Small Business and Health Care
Karen Kerrigan and J.P. Wieske will answer questions
Thursday, August 25 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., EDT
WHAT: Karen Kerrigan, founder of the Small Business and Entrepreneurship
Council and J.P. Wieske, director of State Affairs for the Council for
Affordable Health Insurance (CAHI) will host the U. S. Small Business
Administration's August Web chat on "Health Care and Your Small Business."
Kerrigan and Wieske will share their expertise in public policy and advocacy
with respect to small business and cost-efficient solutions to the challenges of
health care coverage.
The live, interactive SBA Web chat will engage business owners and aspiring
entrepreneurs in a national dialogue about health care and small business, while
allowing Web chat participants to get information about affordable health
coverage for their employees. Small businesses owners will also learn how they
can benefit from proposed Association Health Plans and Health Savings Accounts.
WHY: The SBA's live Web chat series provides business owners with the
opportunity to have conversations about relevant business issues with industry
leaders and successful entrepreneurs. Participants will have direct, real-time
access to the Web chats via questions they submit online in advance and during
the session, with instantaneous answers.
WHEN: August 25, 2005, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. (EDT)
Kerrigan and Wieske will answer questions for approximately one hour.
