HBA to Showcase 42 Homes in 2005 Parade

The Housing and Building Association (HBA) of Colorado Springs proudly present the 2005 Parade of Homes offering the general public a first hand look at the latest and greatest innovations in new home design. From, well-appointed town homes representing the current trend in “live/work” communities to luxury dream homes complete with every amenity imaginable. Forty-two new homes in Colorado Springs and neighboring communities will showcase an array of Colorado living at its finest, starting Friday, August 5th through Sunday, August 21st - the biggest ever!

This year’s Parade of Homes will feature two main sites displaying three custom homes at Kings Deer ( located off Hwy 105/Roller Coaster.) and six model homes at Flying Horse (located off Hwy 83/Roller Coaster.) We will also be showcasing Downtown Lifestyles; which includes Citywalk Downtown Lofts, Music Lofts, Beazer Homes and Prestwick Townhomes. Additionally, twenty-three individual site homes on display will offer a glimpse into some of Colorado Springs’ premier new neighborhoods, including Peregrine, Pinecrest in Pine Creek, Eagle Wing Estates and Settler’s Ridge in Jackson Creek. The homes range in price from $2 million to more affordable homes prices as low as $150,000.

Admission to the Parade is $8.00 for adults. Children under 18 and adults 65 and over will be admitted free. All homes are open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. every day. Visit all Parade homes on the back of the Parade ticket or go to www.cshba.comm & register to win a $5,000 shopping spree from American Furniture Warehouse. A portion of the proceeds from this year’s Parade of Homes ticket sales will once again benefit Silver Key Senior Services, which in 2004 resulted in a $10,000 donation providing local seniors with much needed housing and transportation assistance.

Tickets are on sale at all Colorado Springs, Monument and Woodland Park Safeway stores, Foxworth Galbraith Colorado Springs and Monument locations and The Home Hub in Colorado Springs. Tickets will also be sold at Parade homes. Maps of Parade of Homes sites will also be available at these ticket outlets. For additional information and site maps, visit the HBA website at www.cshba.com
