The
Brotherhood Tour
Los Lonely Boys
Ozomatli
Chuck Morris Presents is pleased to announce that Los Lonely Boys will
perform at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Wednesday August 17th as part of The
Brotherhood Tour.
Special guest Ozomatli will open the show. Showtime is 7:30 PM. Doors
open at 5:30 PM.
The tour plans to celebrate the collective heritage of Latino-Americans in
music.
The family band is a great rock-n-roll institution, from the Everly Brothers and
the Beach Boys to the Black Crowes and Hanson. There's something about the
unstudied perfection of blood harmonies that creates a distinctive and
irresistible style.
Los Lonely Boys, three brothers aged 21-25 from a tiny town in West Texas,
are writing a new chapter in the compelling saga of America's musical families.
The Garza brothers have been making music together since they were small
children - Henry on guitar, Jojo on bass, and Ringo on drums. They began as the
backing band for their father, Texas musician Ringo Garza, Sr., and are now
making their own musical mark. Los Lonely Boys have been creating a stir all
over the music industry.
They finished up 2004 by winning a Grammy and performing on the award show’s
live 2005 broadcast.
Los Angeles’ favorite sons, Ozomatli, have been brewing their socially conscious
blend of high-energy Latin, Hip-Hop, and Funk since 1995.
Representing Los Angeles' cultural diversity and political struggles through
their music and message of global unity, Ozomatli have never been shy about
their commitment to social justice and progressive politics.
They have won the Grammy for Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album twice (in 2002
for Embrace the Chaos and 2005 for Street Signs), but the Ozomatli sound still
manages to defy musical categorization.
