Single Game Cu Football Tickets On Sale For Both Home & Road Contests

Single-game tickets for all 11 University of Colorado football games this fall, both home contests at Folsom Field as well as for five road games, went on sale Monday morning, August 1.

Tickets are expected to go the fastest for CU’s two rivalry games, which also happen to be the regular season opener and finale. Colorado State visits Folsom on Sept. 3, the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, while Nebraska is in town for the traditional Friday-after-Thanksgiving battle on Nov. 25. Both those games will be nationally televised and have 1:30 p.m. kickoffs.

Other games include New Mexico State (Sept. 10, an 8 p.m. kickoff with a special fireworks show at halftime), Texas A&M (Oct. 8, CU’s home Big 12 conference opener in conjunction with homecoming weekend), Kansas (Oct. 22, the signature event of Family Weekend) and Missouri (Nov. 5, expected to be a pivotal game in the race for the Big 12 North Division title).

Colorado might also be playing one of the nation’s toughest road schedules this fall, starting with a Sept. 24 date at Miami, Fla., which will also serve as the Hurricanes’ home opener. CU will also travel to Oklahoma State (Oct. 1), Texas (Oct. 15), Kansas State (Oct. 29) and Iowa State (Nov. 12). The Buffaloes do own the nation’s eighth best road record since 1988 with a 55-27-1 mark.

Kickoff times for the Miami game in September as well as for those in October and November won’t be known until either six or 12 days prior to the game.

Individual ticket prices for CU home games are scaled, ranging from $50 to a high of $300 for club seats, with prices of $65, $85 and $100 in-between, depending on location. Tickets for fireworks night against New Mexico State in some locations are also available for $25.

Road ticket prices are $55 for the Texas and Kansas State games, $50 for Miami, and $40 for Oklahoma State and Iowa State, with all locations in the visiting team section designated at those stadiums.

Tickets are available for purchase by four methods: in-person at the CU Athletic Ticket Office, located between gates 4 and 5 at Folsom Field on the CU-Boulder campus; through all TicketsWest outlets at all King Soopers stores; on the internet at www.CUBuffs.com; and by telephone at 303-49-BUFFS (492-8337; or 1-800-87-BUFFS).

CU ticket officials are still holding full season ticket packages for all six home games for sale at three price levels: $300, $240 and $180 depending on seat location. In addition, just over 500 mini-season ticket packages (out of 660) remain for four games at Folsom for the “Family Fun Zone” in section 207 are available for just $100 for four games (New Mexico State, Texas A&M, Kansas and Missouri games), with those tickets including one hot dog and a Pepsi-Cola product at each contest.
