You Asked And We Listened!
Families asked for the Pueblo Zoo to be opened earlier in the morning, and we
listened. Throughout the entire month of July, the Zoo has extended their hours
of operation to be open from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. In past years, the Pueblo
Zoo opened at 10:00 a.m. and closed at 5:00 p.m. during the month of July but
arrangements have been made to open one hour earlier each day in July. So, come
early and let the Pueblo Zoo help you enjoy your summer!
The Pueblo Zoo is a not-for-profit organization and is accredited by the
American Zoo and Aquarium Association (AZA).
Zoo Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily through the month of July

TURTLE TUESDAYS
Once again, every Tuesday during the month of July, the Pueblo Zoo is offering
free (except for admission to the Zoo) educational close encounters with all the
turtles and tortoises at the Zoo. On July 19 and 26, from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30
p.m., the Zoo Crew will interact with Zoo attendees and the turtles and
tortoises housed at the Zoo at the Pioneer Farm farm house. If you want to learn
while having fun, come out and participate in Turtle Tuesdays at the Pueblo Zoo.
The Pueblo Zoo is a not-for-profit organization and is accredited by the
American Zoo and Aquarium Association (AZA).
