Be part of a “Colorado Legend”
The Colorado Renaissance Festival

For the past 28 years, The Colorado Renaissance Festival has provided over 4 million visitors the opportunity to return to the 16th century to enjoy the music, merriment, food & drink, and the chivalry of Merry Olde England.

Open now – July 31 the festival appeals to all age groups who wish to spend a fun filled day returning to the past. Located on a 350 acre wooded site in Larkspur, the festival’s realm will be open for eight weekends.

Highlighting the 2005 festival are new performing acts that include Arsene Dupin who is recognized worldwide. Also appearing are Hey Nunnie, Nunnie, two fun loving singing Nuns; Zilch the storyteller, who tells classic fairy tales backwards; Scottish Mayhem, a uniquely entertaining, energetic, Celtic music trio; plus experience the thrill of the new High Flying King’s Catapult.

Returning favorites include a combat joust, where Knights battle for the honor of fair maidens and Cast in Bronze, a unique musical adventure featuring the “Carillon” a rare medieval instrument of bells weighing four tons. The ever-popular Puke and Snot will perform comical antics on the Pirates Ship Stage, Ded Bob and his dummy Smudge provide “dedly” humor that will tickle your funny bone, and the amusing Rick Stratton Hypnotist Show.

Festival goers will enjoy a 16th century marketplace filled with over 200 artisans displaying their arts and crafts. Food and drink fit for a king will be avaiable plus ten stages offering continuous entertainment daily. Children will delight in the free Children’s Realm plus face painting, hair braiding, and rides such as the World’s Largest Rocking Horse, the Giant Swing and Leonard de Vinci’s Flying Machine.

Adult Admission is $16.95 with discount tickets available at all participating King Soopers. Discount coupons also are available at Wendy’s and Diamond Shamrock Corner Stores throughout the Front Range.

Opening Weekend June 11 & 12 offers buy 1 get 1 free (a $16.95 value) at all participating Wendy’s locations. Children 5-12 are $8, under 5 are free.
