Pikes Peak Or Bust Rodeo Parade

Call For Entries
Deadline Is Approaching...Quickly

The Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade is the oldest special event in Colorado Springs and this year’s 63rd Annual is just around the corner. On Wednesday, August 6th, 2003 the Rodeo Parade will be held in downtown Colorado Springs. It starts at 10:00 a.m. at Tejon and St. Vrain and is expected to last until about 11:30 a.m.

In the 2002 event, honoring American Heroes, there were numerous military units, hundreds of horses, marching groups, bands, beautiful floats and plenty of clowns on hand. In 2003, the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade theme is “Home of the Brave”. Show your support for our local and national Armed Forces by proudly displaying our nation’s colors Red, White and Blue. Add a western theme using these colors and you just may have a winning float entry at the 63rd Annual Parade. Show this community how proud you are of this nation’s rich western heritage and America’s “Home of the Brave” by decorating your entry with Red, White and Blue colors honoring your choice for America’s Bravery.

So the Call for Entries goes out! The organizing committee is requesting business and civic groups, floats, marching groups, and bands to join in and be a part of the 63rd Annual Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade in downtown Colorado Springs. Entry Deadline is July 18th, 2003. For more information on how to become a part of this community event call 719-635-8803. Remember that entry forms are accepted on a first come, first serve basis! So call and request your entry form TODAY! All entries must have a western motif highlighting the parade theme.

Celebrate the tradition as do so many in our community. At least 17 local people have volunteered for the Parade or Rodeo for more than 35 years.

For an Entry Form and Parade Rules, call 719-635-8803! See you on August 6th, 2003 in Downtown Colorado Springs for the 63rd Annual Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade!
