Dr. Myron Wood Photo Exhibits
More than 150 photographs by internationally known photographer Myron Wood will be exhibited at all Pikes Peal Library District (PPLD) facilities, including bookmobiles. The photographs from PPLD’s Special Collections have been shown in Europe, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York City), and the International Museum of Photography at the George Eastman House (Rochester, NY). Wood’s photographs have also appeared in Time, Audubon, Fortune, Newsweek and the New York Times, as well as in numerous books and articles on the southwest.
Although Wood is known for his lyric interpretation of the cultures and landscapes of southern Colorado and northern New Mexico, the themes of diverse geographic subjects and Weston-inspired straight photography recur throughout the history of his work. [photo available for publication]

Learn how to join Raincheck, the network of backyard weather stations around the city and surrounding areas, by setting up your own backyard station.
