Fiesta Weekend Parade - 2003 Colorado State Fair
Preparations have begun for the 2003 Colorado State Fair, especially Fiesta Weekend and the Fiesta Parade. We invite you once again to join us for this exiting time. This year Fiesta Weekend will be August 30th and 31st, with the Fiesta Parade being on Sunday the 31st.
The traditional Mariachi Mass at Minnequa Park will precede the parade at 8: 00 a.m. and the parade will start at 10:00 a.m. This year's theme is "Abrazando Nuestras Tradiciones con Orgullo" (Embracing Our Traditions with Pride).
The parade will run north from the assembly lot (East Abriendo Avenue), to Northern Avenue-west to Beulah Avenue - north, and stop on Sprague Avenue.
With the many events that are planned on the fairgrounds, we hope you plan to spend the entire weekend with us. Whether it is the concerts featured in the Event Center, the cultural arts show, the Charreada (Mexican Rodeo) in the Grandstand, or the numerous free entertainment acts performing throughout the fair, there is bound to be something for everyone.
