Neighborhood Services Hosts Workshop Series, September 17, 2002 The City of Colorado Springs, Neighborhood Services Department is hosting a series of free neighborhood workshops addressing issues that are important to homeowner associations and neighborhood organizations. The workshops offer opportunities for residents to network with each other, exchange ideas and ask questions of city staff. The first workshop, scheduled for September 17 from 6-8 p.m., will focus on code enforcement and zoning issues within neighborhoods. Featured speakers will include Karon DiPentino, Code Enforcement Administrator and Pam Brady, Land Use Inspector. The workshop will be held in the City Administration Building located at 30 S. Nevada Ave on the northwest corner of Nevada and Colorado Avenue. This workshop is free and open to any citizen or group wanting more information on code enforcement and zoning. Future workshop topics will include city planning, conflict resolution and covenants and bylaws. Free parking will be available in the city garage located on the southwest corner of Nevada and Colorado Avenue.
