Basketball Championship Tickets Now on Sale

Tickets are now on sale for the 2002 Colorado High School State Basketball Championships. The championships slated for March 13-16, 2002, at The Pepsi Center.

Order forms can be requested by contacting the CHSAA ticket office at 303/340-1818. All ticket orders must be received by February 25.

Tickets can also be purchased starting March 5 by phone through TicketMaster (303) 830-8497 and at TicketMaster walk up outlets (Foleys, Rite Aid, Budget Tapes and Tower Records.)

Also starting March 5, tickets may be purchased at The Pepsi Center box office (walk-up only). For each ticket purchased at The Pepsi Center box office, a $1.75 box office fee will be added.

The schedule and ticket prices for the State Basketball Championships are:

Wednesday, March 13
5A Boys' Quarterfinals (Game Times: 3:30, 5:10, 6:50, 8:30 p.m.)
Reserved Tickets Only: Adults-Premium Seats $11 (Upper level - $9.25 / Children/ Seniors - $8.25)

Thursday, March 14
5A Boys' Quarterfinals (Game Times: 3:30, 5:10, 6:50, 8:30 p.m.)
Reserved Tickets Only: Adults-Premium Seats $11 (Upper level - $9.25 / Children/ Seniors - $8.25)

Friday, March 15
4A & 5A Boys' Quarterfinals (Game Times: 3:30, 5:10, 6:50, 8:30 p.m.)
Reserved Tickets Only: Adults-Premium Seats $11 (Upper level - $9.25 / Children/ Seniors - $8.25)

Saturday, March 16
4A Girls & Boys Finals, 5a Girls & Boys Finals 2:00, 4:15, 6:00, 7:45 p.m.)
Reserved Tickets Only: Adults- $12 Premium Seats (Upper level - $10.25 / Children/ Seniors $8.25)

Tickets for the remaining sites are sold on a walk-up basis with no facility charges. The class 4A and 5A girls' quarterfinals and semifinals are slated for the Denver Coliseum, with the finals in both classes at The Pepsi Center. The Class 3A boys and girls tournament will be played at the U.S. Air Force Academy. The Class 1A and 2A boys and girls tournament will be played in Pueblo, with the 2A teams at Pueblo Events Center and the 1A teams at the University of Southern Colorado. The finals in both boys and girls will be at the Pueblo Events Center.
