Micky And Minnie Dress-Up Mariachi Style Alongside Nydia Rojas

The young musical sensation performs with her mariachi at "The Happiest Place on Earth"

Rojas confirms participation in the popular Hollywood Christmas Parade

Promoting her newest material under the Hollywood Records Latin label, Si Me Conocieras, Nydia Rojas performs to the music of her mariachi this past October at Disneyland. Among those who attended the event, were the happiest couple in the park, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, who greeted Rojas following her performance dressed in their most festive mariachi costumes.

The end of the year is filled with many activities for this rising star. Rojas has just been invited to participate in one of the most popular events in Southern California. The Hollywood Christmas Parade is commemorating its 68th anniversary this November 28th 1999 and Rojas will celebrate by headlining the stage of the popular Spanish-language radio station, KLAX 97.9 FM. Other parade participants include Julio Iglesias Jr., Edward James Olmos and Erik Estrada.

In addition, Rojas confirmed her participation for Dec. 31, 1999 in one of the five 'City of Los Angeles Millennium Celebrations'. She will perform with her mariachi at Olvera St. Plaza prior to the awaited performance by Los Lobos.

Recorded in Mexico City and brimming with Mexico's finest mariachi musicians, Si Me Conocieras was helmed by producer Carlos Cabral Jr., acclaimed for his work with Ana Gabriel, Ana Barbara and Marco Antonio Solis, among others. Cabral drew from the talents of the field's top arranger, including Rigoberto Alfaro (Vicente and Alejandro Fernandez), Javier Carrillo (Pepe Aguilar) and Manuel Cazares (Juan Gabriel).

The album's first single, "No Se Mas De Mi" is one of the most solicited tracks currently programmed in the top radio stations throughout the country.
